One of the Bald Knobs that was induced by Aboriginal Fire Burning.
The highest Bald's offer Panoramic Views across the Plains.
Smoke
signals were sent from the Bald's to people on the Plains
prior
to the Annual Gathering.
In a good season, messages were sent for
many to climb the Mountains
and up to 7000 people would gather to celebrate
and harvest the
natural abundance of the Mountains. After the season finished,
some would travel to the Hervey Bay Region for the Mullet Season.
